The Aug. 22 club luncheon will be at Holmes Elementary, 2600 W. Sharp.

Following pizza, Holmes Principal Kale Colyar will talk about the coming school year.

After his talk, members and guests will load supplies for the year.  Sandy Fink, our club’s liaison with Holmes, said the school will add $500 to the club’s planned $2,500 supply budget.  Sandy said prices for supplies have increased this across the board this year.

One item was not needed.  “We have lots of tissues left over from last year,” Sandy said.
